Paul J. Meyer, founder of Success Motivation Institute, and serial entrepreneur passed away Monday.

Paul was not only a legend to me, he was a friend.  He once flew me into the Grand Cayman Islands for five days for a retreat that turned out to be one of the most influential events of my business career.

That week he taught me the secret to creating hundreds of millions of dollars: “Give first”, he said “success will follow”.

It was after that event that I began donating more time and money to making a difference in the world. The contacts and good will from that inspired me to start MasteryTV.

I’ll miss his wisdom and the world will miss his generosity.
